JERNEY

Jerney is a 25-year-old solo rapper currently based out of Denver, CO but originally hailing from New Jersey. His rhymes are versatile; running the gambit from conscious lyricism to braggadocios bars. His beats range from hyphy club bangers to jazzy head boppers and have even been described as psychedelic at times. Artists like Outkast, Curren$y, Freddy Gibbs, Tupac, and J. Cole speak most to Jerney and you can tell via their influence on his music, but as he grew up in the age of the internet his influences run far and wide and have all come to form his unique sound.

 

Jerney released his first mixtape in 2012, and within the same year released three more mixtapes. In the 6 years since Jerney has released 7 mixtapes, 2 EPs, an album and is currently in the process of producing another full-length album! Practice makes perfect and Jerney has been practicing, consciously crafting his sound to what it is today. Jerney is consistently honing his craft releasing project after project, always two to four a year.
